A few years back, my grandmother passed away at the wonderful age of 92. As our family grieved her loss, it hit me how much I wished I had taken the time to record some of her incredible life stories while she was still with us.

Well, living through the Great Depression when supplies were scarce really impacts a person….think back to our own days of scarcity living through COVID-19 in 2020. Even though I knew why she had a stock pile, I never asked detailed questions about life as a little girl growing up during that time.

Well friends, I'll be honest - I totally missed that opportunity. Life got busy with raising my own kids and career. Before I knew it, that golden chance to capture her stories on video had slipped away forever.
